Function:
The technician solves the problems on production lines, reports directly to the CSO and indirectly to technical service Manager.
The technician carries out maintenance, inspection and repair work of the electrical and mechanical installations on production lines. He/she solves disturbances within and prevents recurrence. With a good focus on continuous improvement, the technician contributes to a qualitative and effective production process. He contributes to different projects and works on drives, measuring, control technology, pumps & transport systems, power supplyes and cooling units.

Tasks:
• Solve malfunctions;
• Maintenance to prevent disturbances;
• Corrective maintenance;
• Provision and implementation of improvements for a fault-free and high production process;
• Identify common failures and coming up with structural and durable solutions;
• Identifying and preventing of unsafe situations, so that it is kept to a minimum;
• Waste reduction.

Results:
The function has the following result areas:
• Extensive production process by which a fixed quantity of ice creams per hour can be produced annually;
• Achieving an average of 17.85 number of strokes per production line on an annual basis in accordance with stated objectives;
• Waste reduction per production line in accordance with stated objectives
• Work according to standardized procedures;
• Identify improvements and suggesting improvement proposals.

The profile:
• Higher education electrical engineering/control engineering preferably combined with Mechatronics;
• Experience in the area;
• Affinity with production environment (food industry is preferred);
• Knowledge of PLC technology, measuring and regulating technology and/or knowledge of integrated process plants;
• Great willingness to further training;
• Team player and have good communication skills;
• Is problem solving and customer focused;
• Is ambitious, flexible, independent and responsible;
• Safety is at number 1;
• Good command of German or English language;
• The willingness to be flexible to work is a must.
